Kingmaker Pok Deng

Rules
Kingmaker Pok Deng is played with a deck of 52 cards and supports up to 5 players. Players' objective is to assemble the best hand ranks of two or three cards with the highest single digit to compete against the banker.



Player Rules
1. Player(s) competes their hand against the banker only.
2. Player(s) will be automatically removed if he/she does not have sufficient amount to bet. An amount will be set aside as insurance :
(Bet Room Max Bet Amount) * (Max Bet Multiplier). Example => $10 * 5 = $50.
3. Player(s) will draw a 3rd card if card score value falls under 0-3. (If the player's hand is 4-7, the player will be given the option to draw an additional card or stay in the same hand.).

Banker Rules
1. Banker will automatically draw a 3rd card if card score value falls under 0-5.
2. Banker will not draw if card score value falls above 6-7. Banker’s cards will be opened to all players during the banker’s turn.

Side Bet (Mini Game)
Kingmaker Pok Deng offers a unique side bet that allow players a chance to win against the banker should the banker gets a natural winning hand (Pokdeng 8/9 or Pok 8/9)
1. Player(s) will have the option to place side bet if banker reveals first card to be 8 or 9.
2. Side bet amount is equal to the player placed bet.
3. Player(s) will not be able to place side bet if player do not have sufficient funds for side bet (Amount is deducted after insurance). Example: Player(s) has only $290 and plays in a $50 table.
4. If banker reveals to have a natural winning hand, player(s) will receive 1.2x payout of their side bet.
5. If banker does not reveal their hand, player(s) will lose their side bet and the game resumes. (Banker does not have a natural winning hand)
Hand Ranks
Hand ranks play a large role for winning in Kingmaker Pok Deng. Different hand ranks offer different payout multipliers.
Rules of comparison
1. For Rank 1 & Rank 6: If same rank, compare hand value, higher score wins. If same value, result is a tie.
2. If tied, bet amount is returned.
3. For rank 2, 3, 4, 5 (Tong, Straight flush, Straight, Sam Lueang): compare card value (A > K > Q > … > 3 > 2). If the highest card rank is same, compare card suit. (♠ > ♥ > ♣ > ♦)

All 3 cards in mixed suits but are in order sequence. A, 2, 3 is not considered a Straight (no wrap-around). Comparing highest card for tiebreaker. (AKQ > KQJ > ... > 432, ♠ > ♥ > ♣ > ♦)

Any 3 face card. Comparing highest card for tiebreaker. (KKQ > KKJ > ... > QQJ > QJJ, ♠ > ♥ > ♣ > ♦)

Technical Specification
Wallet
1. When player place bet, amount of maximum payout will be deducted in his/her wallet.
2. After round completed, player's wallet will updated according to player's win/loss. Excess amount will returned to player's wallet.
3. Same rules applied on player as banker, amount of (maximum payout * numbers of player who placed bet) will deducted in wallet.
