Bài Cào also known as the three-card card, is a card game with a deck of playing cards from the Vietnamese folk . It can be said that this is one of the simplest, fastest and most effective way of playing cards and depends entirely on chance. Bai Cao are played from two or more people, not limited to the number of people but make sure each person has three cards.
Rules
1. Bài cào or bài 3 cây (which means "3 cards") is a Vietnamese card game, played with a standard 52-card deck.
2. The method of calculating the score is as follows:
Cards: each A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 has a corresponding score of that number.
Cards: each J, Q, K is counted as ten points.
A player choose to be nhà cái (the "banker"), remaining player is called nhà con ("player"). The players place their bets then the banker deal cards to all the players. After that all the players compare their points with the banker to decide win/raw/lose.
Banker
1. Players can bid for banker. A new bidding round will begin when there are no designated banker in a new round. The option to bid for banker will only be available if the minimum capital amount requirement is met. Banker Minimum Capital :
(Room Bet Amount) * (No. of Players) * (Extra hand). Example => $10 * 5 * 2 = $100.
2. The player is immediately removed as the banker at the end of a game round when he/she does not have the sufficient amount to support another round of game.
3. Players may bid between 10 Rounds, 5 Rounds, 1 Round or Skip.
4. If they are more than 1 player bidding, a mini game will be use to determine who will become the banker.
Banker Mini Game:
* Each competitor will be dealt 1 card, whoever get the higher value will became the banker.
* Ranking value: K > Q > J > 10 > 9 > 8 > 7 > 6 > 5 > 4 > 3 > 2 > A
* If values are the same, suit value will be counted: ♥️ > ♦️ > ♣️ > ♠️
Score System
With numbered cards A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 : the number on the card is their point.
With non-numbered cards [J, Q, K]: each card equal 10 points.
A player final point is the number at "Unit column" after summed up all point in 3 cards. Ex: The sum of 3 cards = 27 points → 7 is player's final points.
Strongest hand (called "ba cào", "ba tiên" or "three faces") is hand consist of 3 non-numbered cards. Ex: [J, Q, K], [J, J, K], [J, Q, Q],[K, K, K],...
Weakest hand is 10 point ("busted" called bù). Ex: [1, 2, 7], [2, 8, K],...
In this game card's type does not count (♥, ♦, ♣, ♠) . Ex: [♥3, ♣4, ♠2] is equal to [♦3, ♠4, ♣2]
Two Hand Feature
Specifically for normal players (not for banker player):
In a round base, all normal players in the game can add more a ''bet spot'' to insert a sub bet. A ''spot'' is like: player has to place a number of bet (not related to the default bet), ex: $10, then player is dealed a new 3 cards which will be compared with the banker cards.
This feature is Optional, user can decide to bet or not.
Commission
3% of commission will be deducted from all winners.
